Bruno C. is a friend of Authouart's that is a restorer of antique cars. Often times when Authouart comes by to say hello, he stops to sketch some cars. As is the new style of Authouart , you can see comic strips underlying the image. The first is a copy of a comic he made when eighteen years old. The second, with the Jeep, is homage to the cartoonist Milton Canif. The third depicts the road on which James Dean had his fatal crash. The cars in the image are listed below.
